What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What exactly is a channel for marketing and why should an online marketer have one?

It's a strategy for marketing to encourage prospective customers to purchase products from your company. It's a selling process where visitors come to your blog to seek information that could solve the issue. You will be able to establish a relationship with each person by using certain tools.

This will enable you to fully understand your customers' requirements. This will allow you to give the most accurate information to all visitors. If you gain the trust of a visitor they are more likely to purchase your products. The customer becomes the visitor.

At some point the majority of customers become very loyal customers who are ready to purchase just about every product that your website promotes. A marketing funnel outlines the steps required to convert a person who comes to your site into a customer that will come back to you for all future purchases.

This is the ultimate objective for any online marketer. This can be achieved easily with a properly designed funnel.

Your efforts to market are capturing the attention of people, and bringing them into your funnel. Once they've completed the form on the PERSONAL lead capture page, they will be added to the funnel. Because no one will opt in to your lead capture page, I said "personal". They want to be a leader and not a business.

The page for lead capture acts as an entry point to the funnel. Clicking the "Sign Up Now" and "Enter Here" buttons will open a new realm of marketing via network.

It's their choice. It's their choice. You haven't sold them anything, except that you're an instructor, leader and someone who will help them get more leads, and also more cash into their business.

This is how a typical marketing funnel works:

You can offer an item for free for your "front-end" to draw and attract people who are interested in your offerings. You will need to sign up to get the product (also called opt in) and enter your email address and your name. Then, they will be added to your email marketing list.

Now, you've got those contacts on your list of email addresses and you can also send similar offers that they might be interested in.

They'll be directed to a page that offers a low-price offer or trip wire deals immediately after signing up for the free offer. This is where they'll be moving to your "backend" of funnel.

If they purchase the bargain price offer, they will be taken to another related offer at a higher price (normally known as an upsell). The person will also be transferred to the next product when they purchase the same offer at a higher cost. The list could go on and on...
